TTGDC wanted a website/application to promote Thurrock, showcase some market research and support investment in the region. 1st Consulting created a content managed website to showcase the research with a mapping solution based around Microsoft® Silverlight technology to support the inward investment.
To promote inward investment, a larger map was built which would show the various areas of the Thurrock region (Master plan, Ward or MSOA) and key statistics for them, based on ONS census data. This was complemented by data from Landmark on Points of interest, Land use and large scale planning applications.

The brief of the project was to create a working model for an exhibition to create and store digital receipts for consumers and businesses. The first part of the model consists of an EPOS terminal where the user can scan in their URCEIPTS card. The second part is the web-application where the user can login as a consumer or a retailer. This innovative project is on display at the 'Applied Imagination: Bringing Method To Madness' exhibition in London.
